Gochujang Chicken

Ingredients

• 2 chicken breasts

• 2 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili pepper flakes )

• 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)

• 1 tbsp Soy sauce

• 1 tbsp Oyster sauce

• 1 tbsp Mirin

• 1 tbsp sugar (optional)

• 1/4 cup (60ml) water

Directions

1. Lightly season and coat chicken with cornstarch. Make sure they’re evenly coated and shake off the excess.

2. Fry chicken until they’re golden brown (8-10 min).

3. To the same pan, add the garlic, white part of the green onions, and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute or until fragrant.

4. Pour in the sauce and combine.

5. Add the cooked chicken and toss together until the sauce is thickened and the chicken is nicely coated.

6. Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with some sesame seeds and green onions.
